My Adventures in Europe: June 2007

So, the whole lot of GAPpers from the Royal Masonic minus Lauren because she had to work and minus Maxine because she had a birthday party to go to (so that would be me, Katrin, Iga, Katie, Dairne, Kristin, Livia and Jelena) trekked our butts off to southern England. SO, Brighton is pretty much one of my favorite cities ever, and this weekend proved yet again how much fun it truly is. We lucked out with some decent weather during the day (because it's been non-stop raining for like a month now), so all we really did was hang out on the beach and play on the pier and eat yummy food. As the day progressed we went from eating chocolate, doughnuts, chips and subway to lots of alcomahol... and that twas fun! Then we hit up some clubs and pubs and bars and a karaoke club, which was oh-so entertaining... So, we were pretty much toast around 1:30, and decided to try and sleep on the beach, and then it started to pour with rain, so we moved to the bus shelter... dry but definitely not warm!!! Oh, it was not a good "sleeep"... so then we found a Burger King around 4:00 and got some coffee, and then tried to catch a coach back to London around 5:00 in the morning, and having that failed, we walked to the train station and trained back to London at around 6:00, arriving home to the comforts of a bed and shower at 9:00... needless to say I slept most of the day, but it was well worth it! So enjoy these photos! :)

BRIGHTON!!!!!!!!!

Hello everyone! Well, we're back from the Netherlands and had a splendid time! :) We went to Amsterdam for a few days, and really loved it there! The Dutch are great people and the city was just really gorgeous! We did a lot of wandering around, shopping here and there, finding amazing places to eat, wandering through parks and squares and the whole lot. We also got to visit the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum, and the Anne Frank House, which were all incredible! Anyways, I won't bore you any longer, to sum up, the Netherlands is cool...
