Picturesque Scotland

Me, with my backpack on top
of another backpack on the
train in England (hot, I know).

Just arrived in Edinburgh.

The girls, and our mass of
luggage.

Checking out the shops.

Me and the pretty red post box.

Random Park-ish thing, near
our flat.

A cool looking building.

Shamwagon Monkey.

Edinburgh Castle on the hill.

An old building (remember
how good I was at this?)
I don't know why I bother...

Me, with Edinburgh Castle
in the distance.

The pretty ferris wheel, and a
cool building (i believe it was
a church).

The entrance of the cute
"German" market.

Some museum...

Me, and my chocolate-
covered strawberries at
the Christmas market! Yum.
I also enjoyed some fab mulled wine.

More of Edinburgh...

The Christmas market.

The outdoor skating rink!

Some of the rides at the carnival.
The castle with some lights on.
Ohhhhh heaven, how I miss
Starbucks... I'm going to live
there even more when I get
home than before! Hooray!

Okay, so I'll narrate this one
because I'm sure you are all
curious lol. So, Cindy has a
placement at a rock climbing
school, and was cool enough to
bring a rope with her on her
travels to practice tying knots
and somehow we managed to
construct this... random, yes.

Hanging out with some chips lol.
That's Coco, Maria, Tuti, and Aman.

Me and Aman being stupid.

Cindy cooking her fab fajitas!

Mmmmm, fajitas!!!

Me and another fun fountain!

Christmas train! :) yay.

Me, Aman, Tuti, Maria, and
Cindy infront of the fountain
and the castle.

Reindeer! :)

Me and Aman with the carriage
horses!

Me, Maria, and Amanda with
a bagpiper!!! lol.

Me in some wierd whale-
bone chair seating jig
at the Royal Museum of
Edinburgh. Twas' a jolly
good time.

Me in this little thing here.

Me afraid...

Space suit! (It makes
me look fat!) lol.

Me, attempting, to lift
my weight. That was fun.
The robot spelled my name! :)
Zoom zoom zoom.

Mmmm, I desperately needed
this Mocha fix, this was after at
least 3 hours on the bus to get
closer to Loch Ness.

Outside the cafe, and with
the beautiful Scottish Mountains
in the background. Snowy and
everything.

Just plain ol' me.

A cool picture I took from the
bus.

Here again... I can have some
photography skills when I try,
which I rarely do. Damn.

Me, with some more mountains...
one of our pitstops through the
Highlands, wow, it was cold.

Look, mountains!

Me and Aman.

Pretty.

Me, somewhere else.

Aman and me.

Glencoe... some big, interesting
story goes along with this, but
I'm not telling it, lol.

I'm on a mountain! And I look
quite proud of myself, lol.

Aman and Me, being stupid, again.

Ooowwww.
I love mountains. I love Scotland.

My first picture at Loch Ness.

I'm on top (of Urquhart Castle)!

A tight squeeze.

Checking out Loch Ness from
the castle.

We sure did enjoy playing in the
castle!

Pretty.

I'm nearly falling to my death.

Sooo gorgeous.

Part of Urquhart Castle.

Aman, showing the castle off.

Through a window.

Help.
Haha, this was fun. Those were
some steep stairs, I nearly fell!

I love it here.

More castle ruins.

again.

Cindy, Maria, and Tuti at the
castle.

Love this picture.

Some catapult-y thing.

Viking play-time!

Taking off on the boat.

Feeling the frigid wind in my hair.

Loch Ness was huge and amazing!

So, fun story of Edinburgh. Our
lock to the flat sucked major. It
was apparently really old and
well, didn't work. So whilst inside
the flat you musn't lock it, or you
will get locked in (we fashioned
a pretty brick in front of the door
at night), and when coming back
to the flat, this lock actually took,
no exaggerations, 10 minutes to
unlock, everytime!!!!! Oh, the joys
of free accommodation.

Some of Edinburgh's amazing
architecture.
Me, on a stairwell, and yes,
I'm excited!

The church and carnival from
god only knows where.

On the ferris wheel... It looked
fun and pretty when you were
safe on the ground, but once you
got up there, there was this fab
creaky noise that sounded like
death was upon us.

Nice views though.

The carnival from up top.

Me, whisking down this fun lil
thing.

Me, on the yo-yo swing ride
like at saanichton fair... It was
so fun, because it went crazy
fast and titled up and down! :)

This is my "OMG, if you ever
touch me again while I'm on these
skates, I will push you down
and laugh hysterically" face. :)

My skates sucked.

Edinburgh's Winter Wonderland.

Some cool thing.

The view from climbing part
of a mountain called "Arthur's Seat."

Me, about to pass out, climbing
Arthur's Seat. (ps, it's pronouced
like that, no idea if it's actually
spelt like that!)
Pretty views of the ruins on
some other mountain!
The Parguans (or Paraguay, as
we called them), bring up the
rear... as usual, lol.
Me, on the mountain.
